1941
Prince of Wales and Repulse sunk north of Singapore. Germany and Italy declare war on US. Japanese troops enter Burma. Japanese forces land in Penang and Gurun, on the Malaya Peninsula. Adolf Hitler becomes Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the German Army.
1942
Hitler appoints Anton Mussert as the leader of the Netherlands.
1943
8th AF attacks Kassel, Germany.
1944
1600 bombers attack the Rhine, the largest number of bombers on a bombing mission to date in WW2. Battle of the Bulge Begins. Malmady Massacre. 84 US POW’s were murdered in violation of the Geneva Convention. The SS shot seventy-one captured American POW’s in the Malmedy massacre.
1945
General Patton has a road accident and is paralyzed from the neck down.
