“The art of war is simple enough. Find out where your enemy is. Get at him as soon as you can. Strike him as hard as you can, and keep moving on.”

-Ulysses S. Grant

War is an unstoppable terror. There is no way to stop or avoid it. We can only face and end war to stop it from causing havoc which can wreck the lives of many.

As much as we all wish to end a war, not all of us possess the courage to do so. Only a chosen few can be brave enough to stand up and fight against war. These brave men are none other than our soldiers.

Soldiers are honorable men who ended war. They sacrificed living an ordinary life in exchange of saving our ordinary lives. While we were at home with our loved ones, praying and hoping, our soldiers were out there fighting against war. They chose to stand up and fight to give all of us a better chance at life.

But, our soldiers couldn’t have done it by themselves. In order to fight against the enemy, they need our nation’s support. They needed weapons which they used to fight and put an end to war. One of the greatest weapons our soldiers ever possessed was the B-17.

The B-17 was a war plane during World War II, allowing our soldiers to fly to foreign lands who aimed to take away our freedom.

To commemorate this heroic plane, The B-17 Bombardier 360 View provides us a glimpse on the B-17 plane. The B-17 flies proudly across the United States with its companion, the B-24 Liberator on a mission of peace and remembrance. The B-17 now stands as a living history exhibit for the nation as it flies on the Wings of Freedom Tour into over 130 cities annually.
