1941
Prince of Wales and Repulse are sunk north of Singapore. Germany and Italy declare war on U.S. Japanese troops enter Burma. Japanese forces land in Penang and Gurun, on the Malaya Peninsula.
1942
Hitler appoints Anton Mussert as the leader of the Nederlands.
1944
1600 bombers attack the Rhine, the largest number of bombers on a bombing mission to date in WW2.
1945
General Patton has a road accident and is paralyzed from the neck down.
