Washington Conference ends.

1942

Operation Compass, Operation Crusader, Operation Drumbeat, and Battle of Bataan.

1943

Casablanca Conference begins.

1944

8th Air Force attacks Oschersleben, Germany. U.S. forces capture Cervaro and push towards Cassino, Italy. Belgium mobilizes its forces while the Nederlands cancels all army leave as both countries are put on alert for a German attack.

1945

8th Air Force attacks Cologne, Germany. Red Army launched offensive in Poland and East Prussia.
